Which infant car seat did you go with?

I have seen mixed reviews between Baby Trend Flex Loc, Chicco KeyFit and Graco Snug Ride and wasnt sure which one to get.What would you recommend for a petite 5 ft tall mom who would probably have a 10lb baby upon arrival?This is our baby, and we are carseat virgins, so please help! Other than safety ratings, what is the second most important thing to look for in a car seat?

    We love our Chicco Keyfit. 

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    This is what we have. The biggest thing for me was how long are we going to be able to use it and how small it folds down too.

    The car seat can be used up to 32 lbs, stroller  50 lbs. I have an Saturn and the stroller part folds down pretty well to fit in my trunk.

    I AM 5'2 AND 100LBS AND WE HAVE THE CHICCO KEY FIT. I DO LIKE THE CAR SEAT A LOT, HOWEVER I WISH I DID NOT PURCHASE THE TRAVEL SYSTEM AS IT IS HUGE AND BULKY AND I NEVER USE IT. I COULD HAVE JUST BOUGHT A GOOD STROLLER INSTEAD OF THE SET.

    We have the Chicco Keyfit 30 and also love it.  It is a heavy seat IMO, but it is really safe and that's really what matters.  :)

    I love the travel system too.  It is big, but we have an suv, so it fits in our trunk without a problem.  It unfolds with one hand - I can hold DS in my arms and unfold the stroller with the other arm now.  It took a little practice, but I like it!

    I like our KeyFit but IMO the canopy doesn't extend over the seat far enough so LO's eyes are often blinded by the sun.  Friends who have the seat have said the same thing.

    We have a Graco Snugride and have had no problems. To be honest, as long as it has good safety ratings and decent reviews, a carseat is a carseat.

    We went with the Chicco Keyfit and LOVE it! It's soo easy to snap in and out of the car. Instead of the big cortina travel system, we bought the carseat and the trevi stroller separate. The trevi is smaller (and lighter) than the cortina but the carseat can still snap into it. Both the carseat and the stroller have been excellent and I recommend them to everyone.
