DH and I are talking about bringing LO to a state fair this weekend. If we go, which should we use for LO - stroller (so she can see), stroller with car seat, or moby wrap/other body carrier?

    I would do stroller with car seat and bring the Moby.  I took DD down to the harbor yesterday in our new jogging stroller and found that she would have preferred to face me still for a while.  I just figured she would like to look out, KWIM?  She would really prefer the Moby, but if it's going to be hot, you'll need a place to put her down so yo ucan both cool off!

    It's a travel system, and yes we'll be driving.

    When we do stuff like that we do the stroller without the carseat (he hates the carseat part of the travel system) and I bring the Moby.  Usually he starts in the stroller and ends up asleep in the Moby.  Have fun!

    couldn't you take the travel system, and the carrier thingy? then, if LO wants to be in the "big stroller" (put the carseat in the car), car seat part, or carrier you can do either one. it might seem like a lot of work but it's just a suggestion and if we had a car it's what we would do since monster gets bored A LOT. lol. if not, i would say take the wrap/carrier.

    We just took LO to the state fair.  I didn't bring the Moby or Bjorn because it was 90+ degrees outside.  We started with LO in the stroller with car seat but ended up ditching the car seat an hour or so later.  He was much more comfortable laying down in the stroller for the afternoon.  We draped a blanket over the front for more shade.  Hth!

    I am taking LO to one of the state fairs this weekend near our house.  I am just going to use the stroller portion so that she can look around and see everything.  I brought her to the balloon rally nearby a few weeks ago and did the carseat portion and felt it was too much time in it for her.
