Anyone here dieting? I have 10 more pounds to lose to get to my pre preg weight, and about 30 to lose to get to my ideal weight. I already lost 10lbs on weight watchers, but I seem to have lost my motivation. I can do it while I'm at work, but then I go home and don't feel like counting points and whatnot. I wake up every day wanting to, but then I fall off the wagon by the end of the night. I'm still eating good, and I may be staying in my points...I'm just lacking the discipline to really stick to it.
So, should I cancel my WW membership and join again later, or should I get my shizz together and do this thing?
What are you doing for diet or fitness?
Re: Should I stay or should I go?
Only you can make that decision.
My plan was to eat 2000 cal/day. I do not have time to count calories and I know I will lose if I stay under 3500/day. (Thanks to nursing!) I usually eat the same things each day so I know the approximate calorie count. I keep breakfast about 300 cal, lunch 400 cal and dinner 400-500 cal. I also allow myself snacks if I am starving, just try to make them healthy - like a yogurt. I also run and do the 30 day shred dvd. I operate better if I exercise daily.
Working out is a good idea. I was waking up before the kids to exercise, then DD started waking up early..and she FREAKS OUT when I try to exercise. I'm looking at classes at the gym that I can take before work....bye bye sleep, hello nice body.
I'm looking for something too (and I've been on many many diets). WW ALWAYS works for me, but I just don't have the energy to look up points.
Maybe try something like South Beach - where there's no counting, but you limit a certain food group - it has worked for me in the past (just not as quickly as WW).
I am desperate for some motivation I have 15 pounds to get to PP and now I seem to be GAINING weight
I did that last summer when my kids slept decently. Now, I am afraid to go downstairs to exercise early and have Dylan wake early and wake the other two which would make the day $hit.... I typically exercise when Taylor is napping (thankfully I am a SAHM). I used to go during my lunch break when Alex was little. Even a 30 minute walk can make a difference. I am running after Alex goes to school now if we don't have any other plans.
