Silly silly question...

The larger my belly grows, the more difficult it becomes to bend at the waist (naturally). Today at work, I can't avoid bending at the waist though. I am a teacher and have the laptop cart checked out. Students are not to handle the computers when checking them in or out, so I'm the one left struggling to work the cart, cords, etc. I feel like I'm squishing my baby, and it's very uncomfortable for me, too! I can deal with the discomfort, but is it bad for baby to be constantly slouched over, cramping everything up down there as I bend and twist at the waist to maneuver these **!$&% things?!

I'm probably being silly, but I worry... Embarrassed

Re: Silly silly question...

  • Nah, not silly.  I think about that stuff too.  Baby is pretty well protected in there so it's probably not hurting him/her.  Just stinks that it's so uncomfortable for you.  I was going to suggest making your students do it until I read further and saw they aren't allowed to handle the equipment, lol.

  • I agree with PP, LO is VERY well protected in there. Have you tried squatting? Still not the MOST comfortable, but I force myself to continue to do it so that I dont lose the ability. I figure, if I continue to squat on an every day basis (practice makes perfect Wink), then I wont ever be stuck in a situation where I cant get something on the floor or down low.

SN: Stinks that the students cant help, what grade do you teach?
