Compromises! WDYT?

So DH and I did just as I was told to help with our search for a name for a girl. We took top 100 names from SSA from 2009 and scratched out what we couldnt deal with and out of those names we only had around 6 that matched. Here are a few combos of those names, some of the middle names are family names that werent on the list btw. Opinions are much appreciated

I think Anna Blair would be my favorite, or even Blair Elizabeth. But I love Anna Elizabeth as well, and that was my vote!

It's so interesting that you took the top 100. We've disqualified the top 100 on principle.

My husband doesnt love Blair so that is why I stuck it in as a middle name instead. Its a family name. As far as taking the top 100, he really isnt into anything that is different or uncommon of so I did the top 100. I may actually take your advice though and do the next 100 or something as well just to see what else we can come up with

I was thinking the same thing..Blair is uncommon, and makes me think smart, beautiful, and classy.  So I say make it a first name 

BUT I just read OPs response that DH doesn't like uncommon or Blair lol.  So nm, keep it as a mn

I'm so glad that y'all did this, and I'm a bit surprised that y'all only had 6 overlapping, but it just proves that this is probably the ONLY way y'all could've found something you both agree on. haha

I voted for Elizabeth Blair. It sounds perfect to me!

I love that Elizabeth is traditional and feminine. And one other thing that I really like about it are all of the nn options:
Elle, Ellie, Liz, Lizzie, Libby, Beth, and Betty (although some of those are more my style than others). And Blair is a classic Southern name, that I think goes with Elizabeth perfectly. (Bonus points for family names!) Did your husband say that he would be okay with it as a middle name?

I would still be interested to see what y'all come up with from the 100-200 list. You know, in my opinion, the names on that list are still very common. And a lot of them are classic, beautiful names, that aren't different at all. You've got nothing to lose by going through it.
