Do you all use soap on LO's face? What about lotion?

My DD's checks feel kind of rough and I was thinking about putting lotion on her face since I dont now but I dont know if it will break her skin out or anything. I dont wash her face with soap either I just use water and I wonder if that's maybe why its rough feeling.

I'll use a tiny smidgen of baby soap to wash LO's face every night during bath time. I'll sometimes use a little bit of lotion, if it seems like her skin's drying out too.

DD drools like a faucet, so I have been washing her face with a tiny little bit of soap during her baths.  Her drool sometimes gives her a rash on her chin, and I've been putting calendula cream on it, and it clears it up right away.

Liam has perfect skin.  All I do is wash his face when we bathe him, using Cali Baby soap (3x per week), and in the mornings wiping his face quickly with a non-chlorine wipe (I use 7th gen).  Never used lotion.

I use soap in DD's bath every other night.  The other nights I just use water.  I dilute a tiny bit of Burts Bees shampoo/ body wash right in the water.  SHe had really dry patches on her skin about a month ago and I used mustela on it and it cleared up right away.  Now I use it whenever I notice dry patches.  I also give her massages with baby lotion.
