Babies: 3 - 6 Months

The down side of DD being a great sleeper...

... is that she was still asleep when I left for work Sad

I BF so I couldn't even feed her & had to pump.  I put her to bed earlier than usual last night (8:30) because yesterday morning I woke her up to feed her.  I felt bad afterward & promised myself I wouldn't wake her up again.

I do enjoy a good nights sleep, but I like the cuddle time & feeding her myself in the morning.  As if returning to work hasn't been hard enough.  Sad.

  • I hear you.  Liam HAS to go to sleep at 7:30, sometimes earlier, or else he is a cranky mess.  He was up and smiling this morning when I went to wake him at 6:15, but I hate the mornings when I HAVE to wake him.

  • I totally understand.  I often leave for work before DD gets up and I miss that time with her in the morning.  It will be OK, though - she will be so happy to see you when you get home from work.

  • I'm going back to work on Tuesday and I'll be looking forward to our time in the mornings before work (even if it's only an hour). Sorry you missed out on yours today but it's great that your LO is a good sleeper!
