So I know it isn't a major procedure or anything but he is still my tiny little boy and it scares me to know that they are going to have sharp objects right next to his heart. He is having his PDA valve closed. He was doing a good job of closing it on his own but then something happened and it is now double the size it used to be. I am hoping that after the surgery he will be able to wean down on resapritory therapy again. It is just scary.

I hope everything went well. My son had PDA surgery at 10 days old, and did much better once it was over. It is scary, I remember that day well. ((HUGS)).
