"So, did you have your baby?"

It's crazy the amount of patients who have said this to me since I came back from maternity leave!  At first I figured that they just didn't know how to bring up the baby, but wanted to say something.  Now I'm kind of like "WTH?"  I want to say "Oh no!  I'm still pregnant, going on 13 months now, I wanna make sure he gets really cooked before I let him out."

    I use that line all the time, or a variation of it, like " I enjoy being pregnant so much I decided to stay that way." Sheesh, people can be so duuuumb!

    AHAHAHA.....Your response is great!  I got that a couple of times too. Is it really that hard to say WHEN did you have your baby instead of DID you have your baby!!
