Anyone having varicose vein issues already?

I am already suseptible to them and already deal with them even not pregnant, so its really frustrating that they are even worse right now. When I am not pregnant, they don't bother me, but about the last week or so my legs are definitely achy and uncomfortable. I am doing all of the things I am supposed to, wearing a support stocking when I can, exercising, etc., but it is still annoying. And I am not even in 3rd tri yet Crying Anyone else?

Re: Anyone having varicose vein issues already?

  • Ive had really bad varicose vein's for months now.  The painful part wore off for the most part, or Ive at least grown used to it so it doesnt bother me.  They look really gross and thats the hardest part for me at this point.  Im really keeping my fingers crossed that once LO is born they wont be so noticeable.  Id really like to be able to wear shorts and a bikini again...

  • I have yucky varicose veins... have since wk 17.  They don't hurt, just look gross.

  • I also had them pre-pregnancy.  My mother and grandmother have them pretty bad so it runs in the family :(

I have noticed they've become more prominent and I'm not excited about that at all.  Oh well, it is what it is I guess.
