We did "God Bless" also. I'd wanted to do "In Celebration of Your Baptism" with LO's name & date, but there wasn't room on the cake I chose.

We put "Many Blessings MacKenzie and Spencer."  We had a joint baptism.

i made the cake and I just put a cross on it since my handwriting on cakes is not the greatest.

We had them write God Bless Sophia and then had a big cross in the middle

We wrote "God Bless DS+Middle name".  His middle name is his Christian name, so we wanted to include it on the cake.

Also, make sure you know what you are ordering.  I ordered a cake from Costco and was certain we had all our ducks in a row.  My DH picked up the cake the night before, just before closing, and it was frosted in chocolate icing.  I spent the entire morning of the baptism begging bakeries to bake me a WHITE baptism cake.  I guess I am just saying to confirm all the details. It seems like common sense that a baptismal cake would be frosted in white, but it wasn't to the baker or my husband.
