This is just a vent!

We are supposed to go to the lake this weekend with my husband's family and their family friends. Well one of the men (not in his family) is obviously trying to not get us and DH's sister to go b/c we have kids. He mentioned how he doesn't like being woken up before 8. Well first of all, DS and SIL's little boy don't wake up before 8. And second of all...SERIOUSLY?! WTF? How selfish can someone be. So yeah, we are out. I'm so angry. What a jerk.

Fnck him...if he can't handle being around kids then he can stay home.  Why does ONE person dictate things here.  My stupid BIL is the same way...he thinks everything revolves around him.  He's incredibly self-centered.  If we're all getting together at a restaurant and he decides he doesn't want to eat there, then all plans are thrown to the wind...we all have to cater to him and I hate that.  It's never something where he needs to suck it up and eat where we're planning to eat or don't go at all.

Don't let him ruin your weekend or make you change your plans...you should go and maybe he'll be pleasantly surprised that babies aren't that bad. Or, go and purposely annoy him.

Exactly! Thats what I don't understand. How one person can dictate. I would NEVER do something like this. He didn't come out and say he didn't want any of us to come bc of the kids but we definitely get the hint. I kind of want to go but I also don't even want to deal with it anymore. Plus, its a lot of work to go down there with LO.
