When is it ok to start using the Bumbo?

I think as long as they can support their head you can try it...you can kind of tell if it is too early as your baby will just slump over and look uncomfortable.

i remember on 0-3 a girl had a picture in her siggy of her 6w old LO in a bumbo & she got flamed horribly!

if you can hold LO upright & they have good head control, it's probably safe.  we probably started using it around 12 weeks.

I just got one for DD because she's been trying to pull herself up from laying down while holding my hands. But I agree with PP that if your LO has good head control it should be fine.

This was DD at 3 weeks old.  She has had amazing head control since she was born.  Overall she is a very very strong baby.  We used our best judgement.  Back then she would get tired more quickly so we wouldn't let her sit in it long.
