Beta #1 and first ultra sound question

As I had trouble getting pregnant and got my BFP with clomid, I am being monitored by my RE.

Today's results are in:  Beta #1 at 15DPO= 122 and my Progesterone was at 129.  I think those are good numbers but will feel better when I get my next results and hopefully see doubling.

But...the RE can't schedule my first ultra sound until October 6 (I will be 9 weeks, 3 days) as he is on vacation (?!!).   I'm feeling pretty anxious about this baby sticking and also want to confirm the number of embryos as I ovulated 3 follicles this cycle.  

 Does that seem too long to wait for a first ultra sound ?  When is everyone else having ultrasounds?

My RE does the first ultrasound at 6weeks 2days to confirm if you are having multiples and then he discharges you to an OB.  If I were you, i would see if an OB would see you sooner or another doctor from your RE's office (if there is one).

Hopefully you won't have to wait.

I think that seems a little late, but all doctors are different.  My doctor said I could have an ultrasound any day next week (6w1d - 6w5d).  I chose Friday (6w5d).  GL!

My first visit is on Oct 5th. My OB is kinda strict about the first appt not being before 9 weeks.

My RE will do an u/s around 6-7 weeks, then release me to my OB.
