Daycare mamas?

What person did you put down as emergency contact if parents cannot be reached and you have no family in town?

    We used our good friends.  We asked if it would be ok. I mean - the chance they would actually be called is so slim. But we use our friends who we trust with the girls just in case they do need to be contacted for some crazy reason.

    I put my mom.  She's a 6-7 hour drive away, but in an emergency, I can't think of anyone else who I'd want to make the big decisions.

    We put my mom down but also canadagirl is one of my best friends so she is on the list as well.

    Not for daycare, but we had to list three emergency contacts for Jakob's school.  We put down two different neighbors and friends who live nearby.

    I figure the emergency contact is just if they can't reach me right away.  Not to make any decisions.

    Close friends. Same people who are on-call to take care of DD when I go into labor!
