I can't remeber having this problem with DD,
For about the last 2 weeks I have had an awful awful headache everyday or ever other day.
I take tylenol but then it's just back in 4 hours,
my Dr says to push push push fluids. That's all she can say.....I am getting really frustrated. I even have a little caffienne (flame away I do not care) everyday on her orders because I was a coffee junkie, but it's not working....
It's not my BP cause that's always been textbook perfect everytime
Anyone else awful headaches?
Re: Headaches?
Me! I actually asked my doctor at my appointment today because I have PIH with my daughter and sometimes when I get a headache my eyes go blurry or I get floaty things. He said the same thing happened to his wife when she was pregnant. It's probably the hormones. He offered to send me to the eye doctor but said 99% of the time it's not eye related.
I'm sorry you have a headache. I hope it feels better soon.

A chiropractor always sets me right when I have headaches.
PS - All the books I have say a little caffeine is ok, I look at it this way. I'm not eating McDonald's or junk food - so a cup of coffee in the morning is just fine.
Ugh, I am glad I am not alone. Most days the headache settles in at around 10 am and doesn't go away until I go to sleep. Tylenol, fluids and even caffeine don't help. Spoke with my family doc last week and he said I'm doing all that I can and I just have to tough it out, but it makes it tough to get the work day.
I'm hoping it's just a temporary thing...
I feel headachy a lot, but when I made sure I was good about drinking water it helped. Not all the time though.
Hope you feel better.
This is me everyday. Usually afternoon so I've had lunch, I know it's not hunger related. I drink tons of water now... Tylenol barely touches it. I have found that if it gets really bad an ice pack on my neck or forehead really helps.
Sadly I sit at receptionist's desk of our office so I can't really chill with an ice pack that much. Looks mighty silly!
Yes, I remember 2nd trimester headaches with DD too. It's hormones.
As long as you know your BP is good, it should pass. I know by mid 2nd tri last time I was feeling great.
I'm in the same boat... and it stinks! I asked my doctor about it and she told me that it's ok to take excedrin migraine (since it has a little caffiene she said it would help) as long as I kept to the recommended dose and it wasn't everyday, but I haven't tried it yet because I get nervous about meds. I'm really worried though because I'm a teacher and Wednesday is the first day with students, I don't know how I'm going to function!
