scary weekend and DNA results

On Thursday evening my little Miles had some Febrile seizures (the ones from high fever) so we had to take him to the ER. Seems between his ear infections and how swollen his tonsils were, his body was having a hard time fighting the infection even though he was on antibiotics and Tylenol. It took a few hours to get it under control, it was so scary. Once we got him home and he got back on the antibiotic he was on we realized he was also having a reaction to that; rash, throwing up, lethargic, etc...

My poor baby, we tried everything and what we thought was making him better, was actually making him worse. Thankfully I stuck to my guns and pretty much demanded a pedi appt on Saturday where we switched to a deferent antibiotic and yesterday he was finally back to his normal self.

Also, we got the results from the DNA gender determination test that we took last week. We are having a little girl!

That is sooo scary! I would have been a mess. I am glad he is feeling better. Poor thing. Congrats on the baby girl! They are definitely a lot of fun.
