When did you stop using....

I am trying to figure out when my boys might be done with some the ginormous things in our house.  So I am wondering at what age did they stop using....

1. swing

2. Bumbo

3. Exersaucer

4. Jumparoo

5. playmat

 6. DSNG

I am wondering the same thing (April 14th club, wooo!). It looks like Babies R Us threw up in my house! We did (for the most part) retire the DSNG this past week because we got our Valco stroller. The girls were just to hot and uncomfortable being pushed around outside in their car seats. As far as the swing goes, I think we'll wear the motor out on that thing before we retire it. The girls LOVE their swing! I'm curious to see what everyone has to say.

1.)  5 months (they started climbing out)

2.)  6 months (once they could sit up)

3.)  They still use this at 7 months

4.)  They still use this at 7 months

5.)  3 months

6.)  5 months (when we switched to convertible seats)

1. swing- 6 months.  They both kept stopping the swing with their hand

2. Bumbo- neither of mine liked this much

3. Exersaucer- still using it at 8.5 months

4. Jumparoo - still using it at 8.5 months

5. playmat- mine started rolling at 4 months and kept rolling off of it so I switched to a big blanket

6. DSNG- we did not have this but we are switching out of the Snugrides next week so if we were using a DSNG, I would quit using it then

1. 6-7 months when they were leaning forward

2. never used

3. & 4. they were at least 10 months old...they loved those things...

5. 4 months

6. we used a duaglider for their infant seats, but mostly started using the city mini at 6 months when we switched htem to convertible car seats

1. around 4.5 months

2. until they could sit up or crawl out of it, around 6 months

3 & 4. used until 8ish months, DS started crawling and wanted nothing to do with it

5. only for the first few months

6. never used it. They switched to conv. carseats at 7 months

1. swing - stopped using regularly about 5 months, still use it, but very infrequently

2. Bumbo - 5 months

3. Exersaucer- still use it

4. Jumparoo - don't have it

5. playmat - 5 months

1. swing - We never used the swing.  Both hated it from the beginning.  I think we took it out of our living room when they were 3 months.

2. Bumbo - We still have these in their room but they never use them.

3. Exersaucer - They are still using this but DS is just starting to get tired of them.  We probably have it another 1-2 months and then we will be done with them.

4. Jumparoo - They are still using this but DS is just starting to get tired of them.  We probably have it another 1-2 months and then we will be done with them.

5. playmat - They still use their playmate to roll around on but we haven't had the toys on it since they were about 6 months

 6. DSNG - Around 6 months.  We moved DS to a convertible car seat due to his size so we put away the DSNG and moved to the BOB permanently.

I think I put them away around 6 months

They never really used them (maybe 4 times total) and they were in the basement by 6 months

3. Exersaucer
Never had one

4. Jumparoo
Probably 10 months?  I think I put it away right after Christmas to make room for all the new toys, and they were 10 months old then.

5. playmat
When they started crawling, so about 7-8 months

 6. DSNG
Didn't have one, but we moved them to convertible carseats at 6 months old

Swing - 4 months - didn't like it and screamed when we put them in it

Bumbo - never had one because I don't like them

Exersaucer - didn't get one because we have a jumper

Jumparoo - just started at 4 months and still love it now at 6 months

Playmat - have been using since 1 month and still use.  We hang links from the arches and they love it

DSNG - don't know what this is

 6. DSNG -- 4.5 months (DS was HUGE and grew out of his bucket super-early)

Bumbo - using as highchairs several times a day now

Exersaucer - using now, but not too crazy about it

Jumparoo - is this what the door jumper is called?  If so, this is by far my girls favorite activity

Playmat - still using a little

DSNG - still use for errands a lot

 

My girls are 6.5 months old, and pretty small for their age.  They really haven't grown out of many toys, luckily for us.  A couple of things they are trying to crawl out of now so those are gone, but others I think will be used until they fall apart

1. swing - 9 months. I didn't want to get rid of them, but when I realized I hadn't used them in two weeks I figured it was time.

2. Bumbo - still use it at our beach house because we dont' have high chairs there and space is limited

3. Exersaucer - never had one

4. Jumparoo - still use it once in a while. We only have one so most of the time that we do use it we are doing something with the other baby, feeding, bathing, changing diaper, etc.

5. playmat- Still use that. They love to crawl and sit under it and watch the lights over them.

 6. DSNG - 6 months I loved it!
