I don't remember what I said, but I know what I thought when I saw Lauryn: "well, she's not nearly as cute as her brother was." LOL, she has grown into her look since then.
First Thing: "Wow she's so little." (she weigh 6.5lbs...and i was guessing at least 9)
Second thing: (The nurse asked me if I wanted something to drink.) "Yes I would like a Dr.Pepper and some food please." lol Dh still teases me about this. I think i remember rolling my eye when she said all they had was coke.
I had a c-section and was fading pretty quick from blood loss (I had been hemorrhaging), but I am pretty sure I said "Is she ok" (she was 10 weeks early) and then "I only saw a foot" because they lifted her up over the sheet for only a split second.
I asked DH for confirmation, but it was such a blur for him too that he wasn't sure...he thinks I am right though, lol.
I do remember my OB saying "A lt of hair on this one" and then hearing Corri yell REALLY loud (which made me feel a little better since she was so early), but I don't remember much else from the birth itself.
