Ok, I wanted to make it through the weekend before introducing myself here. I got a positive HPT at 11dpo (Friday) after DH talked me into testing and then I had some brown spotting this weekend and got so freaked out!

I had an early loss back in June, so while I know spotting is common and can be fine, my past experience is that it can also be the beginning of something bad, so I was super scared and upset. 

Fortunately, the spotting was light and brown and seems to have stopped since yesterday morning. I feel a lot different than last time and today when I tested again on a FRER the test line was as dark as the control (I never had a dark line last time), so I'm hoping these are good signs that things are progressing well. 

Another thing that made me feel good was when my mom told me that my brother called her a few days before my bfp to ask if I was pregnant. He told her he'd had a dream that I was pregnant the night before. I thought this was especially cool since I had dreams about the sex of each of my mom's babies after me (and was right.) It might be silly, but hearing that my brother had this dream makes me feel more hopeful about this pregnancy. 

Um, about me...My name is Leah. I'm 34 and DH is 33. We live near Boston, MA with our four fuzzy cats (3 out of 4 in my siggy pic below.) I'm an artist. 

I scheduled my first appointment this morning for September 20th. And I'm really hoping that this is my sticky baby. *fingers and toes crossed*

That's so cool about your brother's dream! It's definitely a sign

Now, put the pee sticks down and enjoy every day.  I'm betting the spotting was just left over from implantation.

Sorry you had a scare as well. (They should ban spotting from all pregnancies), but yes, I too hope we all is well. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I choose to believe that my spotting was caused by implantation or because we had sex and my cervix is sensitive from pregnancy--either way, I am taking the spotting to be a good sign.  

I also got a nice dark BFP this morning--as dark as the control line.  I know that may not mean anything, but I still found it reassuring.

When I told the nurse about my spotting this morning while making an appointment she said that's probably what the spotting was. Yes, let's take it as a very good sign. :-)
