Anyone have ankle and foot swelling yet? We went to a wedding this weekend and my ankles disapeared and my feet got really fat. Swelling hasn't gone down too much. Not a pretty sight!
I haven't noticed that yet, but when I was walking yesterday my hands got pretty swollen. I feel like that happens sometimes even when I'm not pregnant though.
My prenatal yoga intructor advises us to sit against the wall with our legs up every day to help avoid swelling. Maybe that might help?

Yep. I thought it wouldn't come till later, but my usually loose sandals have been squeezing my feet lately. It's worse when it's hot/humid outside, and it was horrible when I flew.

YES! My brother and I went to see Cirque du Solei last week and after all that walking in heels I got home and DH was blown away! I looked down and my feet and toes were huge! I drank a ton of water and put them up on about 3 pillows and the swelling went down by morning.
My fingers on the other hand are swelling more often. I had to take my rings off because DH didn't want them to get stuck and have to be cut off. We're going to get a cheapie today though.
not yet and I am shocked since it's 100 degree's outside. However I am hoping to avoid it at all since last time I was gaining 5+lbs a week due to the water rentention from the pre-e.
NOT a pretty site. My feet literally jiggled like a bowl of jello when I walked. It was so painful!!!!

My feet started swelling last week, couldn't even see my ankle joint. I've had to change all my shoes, because I'm retaining water like crazy. I also didn't think this would be happening yet, but I was mistaken. Hah! Oh, the joys!!
I had the exact same thing happen after I went to an outdoor wedding in the heat and did a lot of standing around. I've been careful to drink lots of water, and not sit or stand for too long and this has helped tremendously. Swimming or sitting in the bath also helps a bunch!
