I'm generally not into trendy names (and neither are most the ladies on this board ), but I'd like to hear your thoughts on Brinley for a girl. DH suggested Brittany because he liked the way it sounded with our LN. I have a cousin named Brittany (and don't care for the name, anyway), so I thought Brinley might be a nice alternative.
Opinions?
Re: Thoughts on...Brinley
I like every single name on your name list so, so, so much more than Brinley.
I would put Brinley in the category of Kaylee, Kylee, Finley, Graycelynn, Kennadee, etc., a category of which I am not a fan.
Brynn is a pretty, classic name, so that could be an alternative.

It sounds unsophisticated ? if I met a child named Brinley, I would assume that her parents were either very young or uneducated.
Other Br names you might consider:
Brenna, Brigid/Bridget, Briony, Bronwyn

Thanks, everyone!
I was definitely on the fence about Brinley. I don't like Brittany--I don't like Brinley a whole lot more, but I liked it better and thought it could be a decent compromise (especially since DH only moderately likes all the girls names on our list except for Scarlett--we both love that name).
LOVE the name Brynn...unfortunately we have a one-syllable last name. But with the sounds it might work....I'll run it past him.
Thanks again!
