Should I have not eaten this?

This is so 1st Tri, but since LO eats breastmilk I figured I should still be careful of what I eat.  Well, tonight I had cookie dough ice cream from a restaurant.  Now I'm worried about eating the cookie dough... does that type of cookie dough have raw eggs that I need to worry about?  I'm just a little extra worried because of the recent egg scare.  Should I pump and dump?

Sorry if this seems silly  Embarrassed

Re: Should I have not eaten this?

  • Usually the cookie dough that's in ice cream is specially made without eggs. So I think you'll be okay..

And now I really want some cookie dough ice cream Stick out tongue

  • Rarely (if ever) does cookie dough for ice cream or other products contain any raw egg, so I'd say your fine.

On that note, I really miss eating raw brownie batter, even though you're not supposed to.

I like cookie dough, but I'd rather wait until cookies are baked; they're yummier that way.  But I LOVE raw brownie batter!!  Sooo delicious!
