Should I have not eaten this?

This is so 1st Tri, but since LO eats breastmilk I figured I should still be careful of what I eat.  Well, tonight I had cookie dough ice cream from a restaurant.  Now I'm worried about eating the cookie dough... does that type of cookie dough have raw eggs that I need to worry about?  I'm just a little extra worried because of the recent egg scare.  Should I pump and dump?

Usually the cookie dough that's in ice cream is specially made without eggs. So I think you'll be okay..

And now I really want some cookie dough ice cream

Rarely (if ever) does cookie dough for ice cream or other products contain any raw egg, so I'd say your fine.  

On that note, I really miss eating raw brownie batter, even though you're not supposed to.

I like cookie dough, but I'd rather wait until cookies are baked; they're yummier that way.  But I LOVE raw brownie batter!!  Sooo delicious!
