DD won't sleep!!!

She used to be asleep by 7 pm like clockwork, no matter where we were. This weekend we were out every evening with family and there was so much going on that she couldn't sleep until we got home (~10 pm).. She had ONE nap today because we were out all day and now she won't go to sleep! I nursed her and she fell asleep but as soon as I put her down she woke up and for the past hour she's been awake and wants to play. DH is currently trying to rock her to sleep because I'm beside myself. I haven't had much sleep lately either and I'm so cranky today that I have no patience.

Any recommendations? Leaving her in her crib doesn't work- she just rolls onto her belly and crawls around, playing and talking to herself...

LO is always asleep by 7 also - but he has been doing this all night too. I nursed him and we put him down - he was wide awake. Did this 3 times in his cradle. We gave up and put him in his swing. He was awake for a while in there - but not fussing and finally passed out. We moved him upstairs into the a/c and he woke up again. He went back to his swing again. It seems like every night I am determined to clean - he has other plans. He is asleep in his swing until we go to bed soon because we don't dare to move him for the 4th time.
