I know FFG uses hotwire (i think) a lot.

I usually have great luck with priceline.

 

ETA: If you're nervous about which hotel you're actually getting, this forum posts what hotels people have gotten in the past and what price they successfully bid at, in what season. I then use that to find reviews on the actual hotel before I bid:
