Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Have you ever?

Just held LO if you are driving a mile or so away if your DH is driving instead of putting them in their carseat?  I never have, because I wouldnt be able to forgive myself if something happened.  But I have thought about it!

Re: Have you ever?

  • Hell no!

Most accidents happen close to home. I would NEVER, ever risk it.

  • no

We did have someone show up to our house and get out of their car.....while the mom was wearing her DS in her bjorn. Crazy.

  • Umm no.  I never would even consider it for 1 second.  I work in medical claims for vehicle accidents.  It doesn't take much to hurt/kill a person, much less a baby.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.
  • Hell no.

    It's not worth the risk.

  • No...my SIL did that and it drove me insane!! I wanted to tell her how unsafe it was but wasn't about to overstep my boundaries with her.

  • I had my girls out of the car seats once (well, twice for Alex).  Driving through a national park near here which has a 20 mph speed limit. Both times I was still in the backseat with her/them.  They couldn't see the animals outside in their seats.
  • I have thought "Man, wouldn't it be easier if..." BUT I've never really contemplated actually doing it.  I would just be way too freaked out and nervous and would never forgive myself if anything happened.
