Hello. This is my first post on here...need some help.
I had a m/c 3 months ago. I finally feel that I'm ready to try again. According to my calendar, i should be ready to start trying this Tuesday. However, my last period has lasted now 10 days (still bleeding) and it is super heavy. Heavy to the point that i'm having accidents. Is it still safe to TTC if it ends before Tuesday or should i see a Dr. before trying? Has any one had this happen? could this be a sign that my body is not ready?
Re: TTC after M/C
So sorry for your loss.
Are these normal periods for you? If not call your Dr. tomorrow.

Your body is not going to go right back to being normal after a M/C. I would call your doctor if it/s heavy.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Please read the links at the bottom of my siggy for some TTCAL and board specific info.
How many AFs have you had in the last 3 months? I know that they can differ greatly after a m/c, some of them being super heavy!
My 1st AF was light. 2nd AF was HEAVY and 3rd was light again.

I'm sorry for your loss, but welcome to the board-
I would call your doctor just to run things by them- especially if AF is usually not that heavy/long.
I would also consider charting- you can read all about it at fertilityfriend.com. For me, it really helped to know what was going on with my body and has been especially nice after m/c.
Everyone seems to have a different situation with their AF after m/c. Some are heavy, some are light for a while then get heavy... everyone is different.
Welcome to this board. I hope you don't stay too long.
I've learned that my body is not the same since I had my m/c. I second charting using a basal body thermometer since it helps you "see" what your body is/is not doing.
As far as the bleeding, they say if you are filling a pad an hour, call immediately. Otherwise, I'd just give a precautionary call tomorrow to let them know what's up. I imagine they will still give you the green light or suggest you come in for a quick exam. Either way, you probably will still be given the same timeline. Good luck.
