Anticipation Over!

Our good friends got married last night and DH was in the wedding, so we left DS with his Grandparents (they came from out of state to babysit) on Friday night for the rehearsal then last night for the wedding.  We've NEVER left him before and had to do it two nights in a row!!!  I have been nervous about this weekend since before he was born!  Everything went great and he went down fine.  I'm so glad it's over!  AND we got a DD and got to dress up and  drink and dance and it was fun, but I realized last night  how much I love how our lives have changed because of LO - I don't miss being able to do things-I'd rather be at home with him than anywhere!!

Been there.  I hate leaving DD to go do anything.  I know I have to, but I don't wanna!!

I had a long night away from LO last night too, when DH and I went to an MLB game about one and a half hours away from home.  THEN the game went into extra innings!  Our LO also stayed with MIL.  I was not an overnight, but it was still the longest I had had a caregiver watch her!

YAAY! I went to a wedding last night and DH stayed home with LO. It was a family wedding, so all our family was there and we had no one to watch her! I also didn't have to drive so I got to drink and dance. But I couldn't wait to get home to her!!!! So I totally know what you mean

I couldn't wait to get home either-even if it was just to see him sleeping!  lol
