Registry Stalker... Clicky Poll

So today I went on to check out my registry and make sure I have everything she will need on it. My mom sent out my baby shower invites last Monday and we already have stuff fulfilled. I was shocked and told my Dh, he told me not to look, that it's suppose to be a surprise. I'm wondering how you girls feel about this?[Poll]

I'm SS because my invites haven't gone out yet so I know that no one has bought anything, but I'm sure I will start checking after the invites go out.

I'm stalking my own registry because there were a few things I registered for multiples of (for various reasons). I'm keeping an eye so if someone buys one of them, I can delete the other.

My invitations haven't gone out yet, but I already have things bought. It's still a surprise as to who got you what thing. I was the same way for the wedding. I checked it at least once a day from the time the shower invites went out until the day of the wedding.

I check now and then to add a few things at different price points. I hate shopping using someone's registry and my options are misc. stuff that are $2 each or $100.

I'm not looking at it *yet* but I know that I will.  it's not even because I want to ruin my surprise, but because it's helpful to know what's been purchased so I can figure in what I'm going to need to buy.

I have been told not to look @ my registry either, but how is looking ruining the surprise when I put the things on there? I just don't understand that?

I don't have a shower planned yet (but an offer or two have been made) and I haven't started a registry, but speaking from my wedding experience I will registry stalk. One thing that was nice about it for the wedding was that I could start writing the thank you notes before the event even happened so there would be fewer to do. Then again, I'm not inviting 100+ people to my shower, so it's not going to be as many notes to write...!

How can we not look at it??? Not only are we nesting mother here, but we do have to keep it up to date (thats what I tell DH) plus it keeps me from going out and buying everything off my list lol...I just cant wait for my little sebastian!
