My ds started rolling tummy to back a couple days after he turned 3 months. He did it a few times in a row, and then a couple hours later when we did tummy time again he couldn't figure it out. Its been like that ever since, sometimes he gets it right away and does it a couple times in a row, and then the rest of the day he can't get it. He'll go a couple of days without rolling over sometimes. He hates being on his tummy so he gives it all his effort to roll over. He gets his butt way up in the air and leaning over, the problem is that his arm gets in the way. He won't push himself up and roll. I try fixing it for him but he goes right back to the same position.
Is there anything I can do to help him out? Or will he eventually figure it out? Just trying to see if its normal or not for him to do so well at it sometimes, and then not at all other times.
Re: DS is 3.5 months and kind of stinks at rolling tummy to back, anyone else?
huh? I thought tummy to back was usually first.
DD did tummy to back long before she did back to tummy.
