alcohol-free hand sanitizer?

Is it necessary to use alcohol-free hand sanitizer instead of the kind w/ alcohol before holding the baby? I thought I heard this somewhere but I'm not sure.  If so, what is the rationale & where can I buy it?  Thanks!

    I actually heard the opposite. Pregnant & nursing mothers shouldnt be exposed too much to the triclosan in the alcohol free kind.

    All I know is that the alcohol-free kind STINKS!  It smells like rotten fish after it dries.
