Sick already?!

This whole week I've been sick with cold, sore throat, the rest of it... and yesterday evening I came down with my first sinus infection...I'm thinking that's what it is because it hurts from my tooth and my whole side of my face.  People have told me that your immune system gets lowered when first pregnant...have you heard that?

I also feel kind of yucky. I'm not even five weeks yet.  I have other children but I swear I can never remember when morning sickness sets in.

Sorry to hear that you are sick! I think there's a lot going around right now, my DH is sick. I'm hoping I don't get it!!

I was really healthy when I was pregnant with DD, I don't remember being that sick at all.

As for morning sickness, it's different for everyone. It could start right away or wait until later in 1st tri.

I don't remember being sick all the time with DD, I did have strep throat right after I found out i was KU, but that was my BF's son who gave it to me

Every pregnancy is different, all you can do is try to take the best care of yourself.  Which for me means that I need to start getting more than 5 hours of sleep a night

I've had a sore throat too and a mild cold too.  Extra rest has been helping me a lot. 

With DD, m/s started at about 6 weeks.  I was fortunate to not have too severe of a case.  I needed to eat something about every 2-3 hours or I would feel really faint and queezy.

I hope you feel better..I'm sick right there with you..I have a sinus infection too Complete with sore throat..Did you talk to your doctor yet, is there anything we can take? I've been taking Benadryl at night, but it hasn't been working, and I woke up this morning with a full-blown sinus infection..I'm going to call my doc tomorrow to see what I can take..
