For those who have had their LO baptised or are going to I need advice. We just scheduled DD's baptism and now I need to send out invites but I don't know the best places to get them that aren't really expensive. We aren't inviting a ton of people I think I need to send out around 13 invites. I printed my own wedding invites but I just don't have the time to print these. Any suggestions?
Also, is there anything I need for the baptism? Isabella's Godmother is providing her gown (Italian tradition), is there anything else I need?
Re: Baptism invitation question
try shutterfly.com, and usually people serve cake and coffee or lunch after the church service.
We printed our own...actually took about 1 hour to make & print for 100 invites (package of invites from Staples).
Donation to the church.
Gifts for godparents...not sure if everyone does that.
We had our baptismal party at a restaurant...our relatives from SC were surprised what a big deal baptisms are around here.
Hit Target and find some nice invites you can fill in. Cheap too.
Or just forego invites. Anyone who's coming to DD's baptism knows they're invited.
Not that I can think of.
I bought them at Hallmark and they were pretty reasonable.
Thank you all for the info and suggestions. We are having DD baptised Catholic. I hadn't even thought about gifts for Godparents. What kinds of things do you give as a gift? We are having a BBQ afterwards (hopefully) at my IL's house.
