We still use level one nipples because I didn't want her to only prefer the bottle over me.
You could try it and see how it goes. Then go back to level one if it doesn't turn out well. We tried a level two nipple once since it was taking her a half hour to drink 4 oz. and she spit everything up because I think she ate too fast.

I did go up a size with DS #1 (I was nursing during the day but DH was doing a pumped bottle before bed and every other night feeding). He really refused to nurse completely around 6 months:-( so I went to exclusively pumping at that point. I don't think the nipple being faster on the bottle was the big reason - he just want to beup and looking around and hated being crammed into my boob (and if you knew his personality, now it would make sense!)
We went up to size 2 when he got fussy at the bottle and now he will only really nurse well in the middle of the night or sometimes if I can catch him JUST when he wakes up from a nap. Otherwise he is not interested. It made me really sad at first but I guess I just have to accept it!

this. DD only gets 1-2 bottles per day and seems fine with level 1 Dr. Browns so were still using them
I nurse every feeding except mid morning (DH's and DD's special time) and the last feeding before bed. We just started level 2's three days ago. We tried a few weeks ago, but she obviously wasn't ready for it. She's taking it pretty well now. We've been trying level 2's throughout the day today too. She still needs som practice, but she's getting it. I think I'll still keep level 1's for the last feeding.
If your LO doesn't like it, you can always go back to level 1's. That's what we did. And I wouldn't be concerned about LO liking the bottle better, especially if you primarily nurse. GL!
