I'll preface by saying, I know my little guy is not ready for it yet. But I'm wondering when you started your lo in the exersaucer? We started T off late (I think) so I'm not sure when to start with B.
We have been putting DD in hers for about a week now. She has good head control and we wrap a blanket around her to keep her upright as she can't hold her entire body up yet. We don't leave her in there for long periods of time but do have playtime in there everyday. She loves it!
I started DD in the exersaucer around 3.5 months. She had great head control by 3 months. We stuffed a blanket inside the little seat because she was too tiny for it, but it worked!

I put it together yesterday! He likes it but it gets to be a bit much after 10-15 min. He has great head control yadda yadda yadda, but I still use a blanket wedged in front of him & under his feet.
He just started really grasping and playing with toys the past couple of weeks, so it seemed appropriate to intro the exersaucer.
Just got our DS one this week!!! I took DS to BRU and tried out all the exersaucers/walkers/jumperoos...he "selected" the Baby Einstein Around the World. It was the one he enjoyed all the toys and squealed in. He spends up tp 30 mins in it.
Re: exersaucer
I've put DD in the exersaucer...only for 5-10 min at a time.
My SIL recommended it, DD is a very fussy baby and so was her daughter and she said that the exersaucer helped them alot.
DD has great head control and is already wanting the sit up on her own (she can't yet, but is trying)
DD was about 4 months when we started her in it.
