Slow, so I have a random confession. My dog...

Is an obsessive licker. He's on the smaller side, so he's usually either on my lap or alongside of me when I'm on the couch, down by my calves. And he LOVES the taste of the lotion I put on my legs in the morning - guess some of it is still there at the end of the day. He'll sit next to my lower legs and lick, and lick, and lick...and lick, and lick, and lick... around my calves & ankles... sometimes for 10 minutes.  DH gets so grossed out by this but I let him do it.  Does that make me a weirdo?  I like the way it feels!!! Hahahaha. Dog's happy, I'm happy.  Nobody is getting hurt by this arrangement!
July 20th, 2012: Never forget the day the fb douchebags tried so hard, but ultimately failed. Viva la October 2011! Yeah, I called you douchebags.

    Too funny. My dog and my cats love the taste of my lotion (I use coconut oil), but they like to lick it off right after I put it on, and I have to fight with them about this, because I need that, damnit!

    I literally just LOL'd at the mental image of having to bat away an onslaught attack of your cats and dogs trying to lick off all your coconut oil lotion right after you put it on.

    OMG. This is my dog. Except that it could be the couch, your leg, your hand - doesn't matter. He loves licking anything that isn't edible. And if we didn't stop him, he'd never stop. Must be a small breed characteristic.

    LOL my dogs are fortunately not lickers. Unless I have food on my hands.

    My dog will sit next to me on the couch and just start licking my leg, it drives me crazy! The more I push her away the more she tries it, it's almost like a game.
    11/05/10 - Found out I had PCOS 11/08/10- Started Provera to get AF 11/20/10 - AF!! 11/24/10 - Start 50 mg Clomid Received blood work back to determine no ovulation occurred :( 12/20/10 - Met with RE 12/21/10 - Started Metformin 03/10/11 - Started Clomid 50 mg Still no ovulation 4/20/11- Started another round of 50 mg Clomid No Sign of Ovulation 5/20/11- Last round of 50 mg Clomid No signs of ovulation 6/20/11 - Dieted and lost 20 pounds and decided to take a mental break from the baby making. Contacted a new RE 9/21/11 - Started First Round of 100 mg Clomid 10/3/11 - Ultra Sound showed Clomid worked! Received trigger shot 10/4/11- IUI scheduled. FINGERS CROSSED!!!

    It isn't only the small breeds.  Our Rottweiler and Pit Bull both do this.

    My dog sits in my DH's lap and will start licking his paws. Sometimes he goes from the paws to DH's shorts. Then DH will say, "Alright buddy, getting a little too close to the boys there..." and hands him to me. HAHA!

    Same with my boys!  They'll start licking my feet and half the time I don't even notice it, but DH gets grossed out!

    Dogs are so much fun!  Mine does it too.  She licks the air if there is nothing else..  I think it's an OCD thing. she does it for sooo long.  It's like when they don't know what to do and this seems to pass the time and aint too bad kind of thing.  She likes to leave wet spots on the furniture from licking so much.  We finally got leather so now it doesn't soak ;) and it's easy to clean.

    My dog does this too, but I don't enjoy it, or only in small doses.  She loves to lick - my legs, my feet, my arms, the floor, the furniture, the cabinets.  She's such a weirdo, but I love her anyway.  She's definitely not a small breed, btw, she's a lab and weighs about 70 pounds.

    My Mastiff Apollo loves to lick feet and faces. He will keep going until you tell him to stop. MH lets him lick his face & purposefully grosses me out haha:

    IUI's #1 - #4 Follistim = BFN's
    IVF #1 w/ ICSI + PGS: Lupron/Follistim/Menopur
    ER 4/13 - 19R, 13F, 4 PGS tested embryos, 1 normal
    5/14 FET: BFP. Beta #1: 123, Beta #2: 327, Beta #3: 854
    Cora arrived 1/23/15 via RCS!
