I have an Acura TSX and in order to get the Indie Twin in my trunk, we have to take the front wheels off. Obviously, we haven't used it, but my husband thinks it's no big deal.
I love this stroller btw!

I'd be very surprised if the Indie Twin fit in many car trunks, because it takes up a decent chunk of my SUV cargo space. My husband has a BMW 4-door with a roomy trunk and even our single Indie doesn't fit.

We have a BOB Duallie and it folds bigger than the Indie Twin I think but it isn't much larger in general once unfolded. We cannot get that thing in our trunk easily and we have a Jetta Wagon and a Lexus RX300 (the small suv). W/ the wheels on it is too deep and we have to lift it up and put the folded edge on top of the back of the back seat and then turn the wheel sideways and slam the trunk shut before the wheel swings around again... huge pain in the butt. We just bought a Twin Triumph, not the Techno, yesterday to keep in the car and both DH and I love it! It is so much lighter and compact and easy to fold/unfold. I like that it can lay flat so we can use it now (I might not have used it at birth, but by 3 months I feel comfortable with it for DD).
We looked at this and the City Mini Double yesterday, too, and when we realized that the City Mini Double still had plastic wheels and probably wouldn't be that much easier to push off road if we ever had to use it that way but was over $140 more expensive we went with the Maclaren. We also asked the salesperson (we were in a specialty store so the guy actually had a pretty decent knowledge base about strollers) about the Techno and he said it probably wasn't worth it - it was a lot heavier and not necessarily a ton easier to use and a lot more expensive. He said for that price you'd might as well just get the City Mini one.
We have a Twin Techno and I love it. It folds up so small and handles great. The cupholder it comes with is completely worthless, but that is the only negative I can think of for the entire stroller. Steers great, folds up easily, easy in/out of my suv, comfy for the kids, nice canopies, reclines... great, great, great.
