More on baby names

So I went downstairs and hunted around and found our old list. I'm not sure if anyone is interested but here goes:

Girls

Bella (clearly we used this one!), Aiyanna, Jade, Avery, Mariah, Grace, Leilani, Brynn (which I don't like now), Eliza, Mya (DH HATES this one now), Raven, Olivia, Kailani (already used for B's middle name), Adriana, Genevieve (too long for a first name but like it as a middle name)

 Boys

Dominic (this is vetoed now), Derek, Andrew, Ethan (way too popular but I love it!), Noah (DH HATES this one), Isaiah, Isaac, Gavin (DH says its a man whore name), Max, Ashton, Makana (DH has since vetoed any hawaiian names), Grayson

Now we need to ADD to the list and clearly take some of them away that we're not in love with anymore... Naming this kid will be hard work!

Boys names seem way harder though and we have finally picked one.  I love a lot of your boys names too, I agree about Ethan, love it but very popular, same with Evan.  I LOL'd when I saw your DH's comment on Gavin!

We have 2 bday parties tomorrow.... Both girls who are named Avery! Plus I know a third Avery too. I think that one is a sleeper popular name, in case you care. It is pretty tho! 

LOVE Leilani, obviously. :-P

Other names we like, in case you need help...

Girls: Sydney, Jane, Roxanne, Felicity, Audrey, Isla, Mia

Boys: Axel, Archer, Henry

Now I'm dying to know your girls name AND boys name Are you guys sharing? Yeah my DH is quite the comment maker. I'm not in love with any of our girls names now though... I LOVED Bella Kailani but now Im not really in love with anything else. He just suggested Adriana and it's growing on me. As for the boys names, I wish Grayson wasn't growing in popularity because we really love it... ugh! Naming a kid isn't easy that's for sure! Good thing we have 25+ weeks to consider (yeah I delivered 5 weeks early with Bella so I'm planning on 35 weeks this time just in case!)

I showed DH the list and we talked about it again and here's what we're down to, basically 75% went down the tubes! UGH!!

I love Genevieve - it was a middle name choice for us too (I linked to my name list in the other poll below). I really liked it pared with Catherine (Catherine Genevieve -I know it's long but think it flows)...we'd have called her Cate.

How about Kainoa? Noah for short. That is my sister's favorite boy's name... I really like it too. Has the Hawaiian thing going, like Kailani! Might be a good middle name for a boy?

We have friends who named their son Gray. Not Grayson, just Gray. I kinda like it. Their other son is Coal, which is cool.
