I thought i read that you are supossed to take opk in the afternoon? but my kit says any time is fine, but to let the pee and test get to room temp. is that what everone else's says? if not, what time do you test, and do you have to let it sit until its room temp? I thought it was wierd. sorry if it's a dumb question, this is my first month monitoring. tia

Is your test wondfo? Someone just asked about the room temp pee with wondfo tests the other day and i thought it was very strange!! I've never let it go to room temp. To me, the thought of letting my pee sit out in a cup while it "cools" is disgusting!
The ideal time is between 11am - 4pm, i think. The *ideal* time is so different wherever you look.
I know a lot of women who use FMU and it is fine.
If you feel like it's around your O time, or the line is getting darker but not yet positive it is best to test multiple times a day. So maybe FMU and again around 2pm after holding it for 3-4 hours.

My RE always recommended between 2p and 8p and it always worked for me. A couple of months I tested in the morning and in the afternoon just to compare and I would always catch my surge in the afternoon.
I have never heard of the room temperature thing though?
