Bruised cheek?

I noticed yesterday that Ada's cheek is bruised. It starts at the corner of her lips and extends about 1cm laterally toward her ear. Lord knows that nobody here is beating the daylights out of her so it's one of two things that I can think of:

1. she fell - spills are monstrous and dramatic around here now that she is running (think body contact under the net during March madness).

2. It's her molars - 4 of them at once. A friend of mine said that her daughter had bruised, red hot cheeks when her molars were erupting. Ada spent all last week pounding her cheeks with the palms of her hands - unlikely there was enough force to bruise herself.

Anyone else run into this yet?

Aaron has bruises all over his face--from crawling into things--but not localized to his cheek.

I think the molar idea is plausible... but she could have fell too.

I hope Ada's bruise heals up quickly!

I would suspect she hit something.    It seems strange to get a bruise on the outside of her cheek like that.

And FWIW, I'm still recovering from a broken blood vessel in my eye.  C headbutted me so hard, I saw stars.  He was oblivious to it.  Sigh.

Matt ran into a chair the other day - he is the perfect height to hit things with his head and got a bruise across his cheek.

Poor little Ada.  The thought of her pounding her cheeks from the pain breaks my heart!

Margaux has a little 1cm-ish circle bruise on her cheek, but I saw her do it.  She fell right on her face from standing, and it's right about where the orbital bone is.

Raquel has a bruise on her forehead from a recent faceplant....mobility has its price!

Could it be from the slats on her crib? Regardless... OWWWWIE but it happens.
