Well, I am back from Australia, and back from a bit of a Bump break. I still had nearly two weeks off work after returning to Canada, so took full advantage of the staycation and did nothing but putter around the garden, take the dogs to the lake, and avoid all electronic forms of communication.
There are a lot of new names here, I feel like a bit of a newbie myself now. I'm sorry we're all here, but welcome and HI to everyone!!
The end of our Australia trip was emotional. I was so certain I was bringing home our joey, and I was right - briefly. Before we even got a chance to enjoy it, it was over. The line was faint one day, gone the next...then a day later I got sick. It was a weird sick - dizzy, faint, queasy, the room was spinning even when I was laying down. Then, by the next morning I was cramping and bleeding.
I'm sorry if this is TMI, but the bleeding was frightening: super dark, stringy, full of clots, and heavy. This is what I had to deal with for 36 hours of travel - going back in time to get home. I was so done with the world by the time I got home I think I slept for five days straight.
I saw my doctor on Monday, who is assuming what we experienced was an early chemical pregnancy. I kind of figured that.
...so we move on. Frustratingly we're back to juggling with DH's work schedule, and our approaching EDD. *long sigh*
I heveryone is doing okay. I don't even know where to begin catching up on here. Feel free to turn this into a gossip column and share all the juicy news.![]()
