3rd Trimester

Walked a mile....ouch!

Last night we took our dogs for a walk.  By the time I thought-- "okay, this is enough"-- we turned around at about the half mile point.  So, total we walked a mile.  Then we ran to Wal-Mart to grab some stuff for the hospital bag.

I know I am a weanie but lots of you guys walk a gazillion miles but this morning my crotch feels like it was karate chopped!!  My round ligaments are on strike and it hurts!!

Re: Walked a mile....ouch!

  • Yikes! You should keep walking as much as possible. It will help you when it comes time to have that baby. Labor is going to be a marathon compared to walking a mile!! I have slowed down a bit, but we still walk a couple miles a couple times a week.

  • I know you are right!!  We have another walk planned for Sunday.

  • I felt the same way! I was so excited to go for a walk but that night and the next day my back was killing me. Killing me. I guess I'll take that as a sign that I really need to keep walking! Hopefully it gets better as those muscles strengthen back up.
