Matthew or Owen?

I love both but am leaning towards one, will tell once the poll is done. For moms with older kids in school, do you hear one more often than the other?

I personally like Matthew.  My preferences tend to lean toward more classic/historical names.

Matthew...one of my favorite boy name combos is Matthew Cannon (Cannon is a family name). My cousin who is like a sister to me loves Matthew and if she has a boy she's going to use it...which is why it will never be on my "list."

I have always loved the name Owen but it has grown a lot in popularity. Matthew is always popular but in a classic way. You can't go wrong with either name, really.

I think they are both classic names. My nephew's name will be Matthew.

For the middle name I'm thinking Joseph (after DH's mom whos middle name is Jo). She joked once and said to name him Carl Joe (her name is Carla Jo LOL!)

They're both awesome names.  I have a slight preference for Owen, even though I'm a huge fan of biblical names.  Matthew is also an excellent choice.
