Crappy week

Well, I made it through the work week (yes, I only work 3 days a week at school, I'm not counting all my teaching at home b/c that doesn't stress me out!). I'm exhausted, my voice is shot, I think I'm going to have to smack some of my new students, I had an absolutely horrible rehearsal for a song set I have to sing in two weeks (see voice being shot note above), and I'm pretty sure AF is starting. Next week will be better, right?

On another note, I've just finished catching up from today and I love you ladies!

BTW: did you watch AGT on Tuesday, what did you think about that gal from so dakota who sang that lady gaga song? or what about Prince Poppycock Big Smile I like him!

I did watch it! The gaga song was weird - it just didn't work right and I thought she sounded really nervous. I liked PP - I thought that song was perfect for him! As an opera singer he is ok-ish, but my thought about him this week (since they're starting to say "who would pay to watch this?") is that I'm really not sure what venue he would ever fit in? A vegas act? I can't imagine people paying to hear a whole concert by him, and his costumes are so elaborate and he changes for each character, there would be an intermission after every song!

Now, I did like the 18 year old who they said had lost his smile b/c of stress. This week was just ok, but I went back and watched some others and I like his voice and style. The other guy who was sick was good, too.
