B2B IUI's

Good morning ladies!

I have a quick IUI question. My RE said if we dont get KU this cycle naturally then we will start clomid the second week in October. We are starting with 50mg and a trigger shot. We have decided to do an IUI in the same cycle. Now can I ask to have 2 IUI's B2B? My husband has a good SA so I was wondering if they normally will let you.

If any of you have had back to back IUI's in one cycle, can you let me know about it. Just wondering if my RE will let me do it. We talk about it on Monday.

My RE prefers to do b2b IUI's, as long as it works out that way with the trigger day.  My first two IUI cycles weren't b2b because my trigger was on a Fri, with IUI on Sat, and the RE's office is closed on Sundays.  But, with this past IUI, we did b2b.

I'm glad you posted this question. I just finished my first cycle with Clomid (50mg), Trigger, and IUI... and got a BFN. When I asked at the beginning of the cycle if we could do B2B IUIs, my RE said they don't find it improves the odds all that much (for couples like my DH and me, at least).....But now having gone through the first cycle, I do want to try B2B next cycle, and plan on asking my RE again, come CD1.

I def want to ask my RE and see what he says. I hope he agrees to it because I def want to maximize my chances!
