AW: He lost his first tooth!

It's been loose for about 2 weeks now.  He wouldn't wiggle it though to try and get it to come out.  His adult tooth was already starting to grow in.  The Dentist said it need to come out so my husband yanked it out tonight.  My son freaked out!  He's okay now, it was just scary at first because he didn't know what to expect!  Man, what a week he's had!  Started Kindergarten on Monday and lost his first tooth today!  Smile

  • Ohhhhh, we are going through this with my DD....her adult tooth is in, she claims she's wiggling it, but its not getting any looser!  And loose teeth make me nauseous!

  • Yay!!! Congrats on getting that out! LOL, I can't stand the teeth when they are almost out *shudders* Hope his first tooth fairy experience goes well!!
  • First tooth fairy experience went well.  It helps that we get him up around 10:30 to take him to the bathroom so my husband was able to make the switch.  My son was so excited this morning and came running into my bedroom at 6:30 with a crisp, new $5 bill.  Yep, dear old "Tooth Fairy" gave him $5.  Not so sure I am okay with that.  We're going to have a talk tonight about that one.  I don't want our son to expect a $5 every time he loses a tooth, we cannot afford that!  But, our son was super excited this morning about it and that smile was priceless!

  • Yay!  how exciting!  My DS lost his first one in May, and swallowed it.  The second one came out when we were camping a few weeks ago.

He'll be starting school with a big gap that looks exactly like your son's!  So cute and "kindergarten-y."
