I wish I had pictures, it was kind of cool to see. But anyway today I went to my normal doctor's appointment. She got really concerned that my heart rate was so high and that I was out of breath. She checked my nails and didn't talk to me for about 10 minutes strait which of course concerned me.
All in all I got out of her that I am not getting enough oxygen and therefore the baby may not be getting enough so she set up and emergency appointment so get an echo of my heart. My lungs seem to be doing well so they wanted to check my heart just to be sure. I have a leak, which a lot of people have, but mine is closer to the lungs, which could cause the lack of oxygen. Though the doctor could not give me a for sure answer till tomorrow.
All in all I am all cried out, at home, with no answers as to what is going on. But at least the dogs are cuddled up to me!

Re: Ultra sound of my heart...
Oh lily, I am so scared. I am sitting here crying again!!!! DH is out of town for the day on business so I am home alone. I can't help but be concerned! I am scared for me and I am scared for the baby. I hope I get some answers soon!!!!
Oh hunny - I'm sending you long distance hugs. (((hugs))) I wish I had a magic wand to make everything better.
Oh A! Thinking of you and hoping all goes well!!!! Make sure you update us when you get a chance girl!
And enjoy every OUNCE of that 4 POUND jar, I think you've earned it and than some.
I can understand your worries! I have been having a not-so-normal shortness of breath that's been getting a lot worse over the last week or so. It only gets a little better when I lay down but sometimes I really feel as though I can't get a deep breath in and am not getting enough oxygen. My OB is trying to get me in with a pulmonologist asap but this city isn't that big and the earliest appt they can get me is Sept 21st. If it gets any worse, I have to go the ER.
How did they check your lungs?
I may have to get an u/s of my heart done as well because a few years ago I had some fluid around it.
LO is doing great however and I hope the same goes for yours. I hope the doctors can help both of us soon! Hang in there...
My thoughts and prayers are with you!
Did your doctor check you for anemia? I had some very similar scary symptons when I was in my 20s and it turned out I was severely anemic. Anxiety can also cause increased heart rate and shortness of breath. I have suffered from palpitations my whole life - here is something an ER doctor told me once that makesw me feel better when I get freaked out - if you can say an entire sentence without pausing for breath then you are getting enough oxygen. Modern medicine is a miracle and Im sure that you will find a solution to what is causing all of this!
Take care!
