I did the pendulum test ( hold chain/pendulum above belly if it goes in circles it?s a girl; if it goes back and forth it?s a boy) and the chain immediately started spinning in fast little circles (and I was stiff as a board) ! ALSO fun to note: my Chinese gender chart says GIRL as well (and was accurate with my twin boys) I usually don?t buy these wives tales but just thought I?d do it for FUN only. Anyone else done this and it was RIGHT ? ( or wrong...I wanna hear both!)
Re: just did the pendulum 'gender' test
My friend showed me the pendulum gender test about 2 years ago and it said I was having a girl then a boy. She did it again just recently to me and it said the exact same thing!
She has done it for years and declares it has never been wrong, in fact the pendulum said her sister-in-law (who was quite content with her two girls already) would actually have 3 girls. 4 years later, the 3rd Oopsy baby girl was born!
Can't wait to meet my baby boy!

Those OWT are so funny. My cousin swears by the pendulum test. She says every single time she has done it, it has never been wrong. LOL! I might have to call her up later in this PG and see.
The Chinese Gender Chart was wrong for me the first time. It said DS would be a girl. This time it says boy. SO, we shall see....
Can you do it with a long necklace chain?
They say you can also put your wedding ring through a string and hold it over your belly and if it swings back and forth your baby is a girl. If it swings around in a circle then it is a boy.
As for the Chinese Calender It read girl for my son (wrong) and boy for my daughter (wrong). Although it was correct with our last baby girl, now this pregnancy it reads girl. so...idk.
Although their fun to try it all bottoms down to that old number 50/50 chance.
Good Luck!
The pendulum test I did was a bit different, though, using the wrist instead of the belly. You take a chain through your wedding ring and hang it above and on one side of your wrist (arm is out in front/wrist side up). Then bob/dip the chain/ring on the other side of the wrist, then back to the side you started on (5x). Then hover the chain/ring over your wrist facing up. If it circles its a girl, if it goes back and forth its a boy. Then do the bobbing again. See what the chain does. Bobbing again.... Once the chain/ring doesn't circle or go back and forth over your wrist anymore - that's how many kids you will have.
Who knows if its true, but its fun to play!
we did this w/ DD several times during my pg and they were all correct.. we tried w/ this pg and it says boy.. so we will see
the chinese gender chart was wrong w/ DD
