I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd finally introduce myself.

DH and I haven't been on the TTC journey nearly as long as a lot of you ladies, but I was diagnosed with PCOS/anovulatory 12 years ago and DH is a prime candidate for MFI due to meds taken and medical history.  After being off BCP for three months and no AF, my endo referred me to an RE.  

Had my first RE appointment last week.  I'm not super happy with him, but he's who my insurance will cover.  At lest for now, with partial coverage he'll be fine until the new plan year when I can change and am not under time constraints for having test/procedures partially covered.

He gave me prometrium and clomid to start along with SA for DH.   I had cysts on both ovaries and a lining of 6.1 on CD 60.  I'm a bit confused as to why he gave me Clomid when I have a number of cysts.  Any words of wisdom on this?  And if my lining is 6.1 at CD60 and Clomid is known for thinner linings, am I setting myself up for failure?
