Hi

Just curious if anyone else has moved from owning their own home to deciding to go rent a home?  We are currently in the process of trying to find everyway to get out of our mortgage as it is a pretty bad deal, and go rent a home.  Just starting to get ready to pack and move, but so hard to go backwards to renting again after 5 years of owning.  Thanks for any support.

We did.  We owned for only two years, but when we moved states we had to rent (we had to do short sale on our house).  We rented a one floor apartment (pretty much a duplex) and I think we would have liked it more if we did a bit more research on the place.  I did not mind renting at all, but we had so many problems with the place (mold, flooding, electrical wiring failing, etc).  We would have rented again if we did not find such a good deal on the house we have now.  A lot of people rent their homes out and they can be really nice (I have a friend who moved here and is living in her second rental home and loves her house).
